Police were able to follow at a safe distance and it was easy to spot the car because it's 4 way flashers were activated.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police were able to track down a stolen vehicle after a quick chase.
Police were called to Highway 2 on Thursday night after some suspicious behaviour from a Dodge Caliber. The Dodge had it's 4 way flashers activated and was all over the road, running red lights. Police tried to pull over the car, however it refused to do so and the pursuit was called off for public safety concerns. Luckily police were able to follow at a safe distance and it was easy to spot the car because it's 4 way flashers were still activated.
The Dodge made its way to Highway 59 north of Frederick Street where it was boxed in and the driver arrested. The car had been stolen from the Windsor area and also contained several pieces of stolen property.
Police arrested a 21 year old man from the Windsor area and charged him with Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police, Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and breach of probation.
