One person had to be taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after four men robbed the Scotiabank on Springbank Ave yesterday afternoon.
WOODSTOCK - A bank patron had to be taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a robbery in the Friendly City.
Woodstock Police say four men demanded cash from the tellers at the Scotiabank on Springbank Ave just before 2:00 p.m. yesterday and one of them was armed.
They took off in a white four-door Pontiac afterwards but they were later arrested thanks to assistance from Peel Regional Police.
Woodstock Police say a 27-year-old man was also trying to commit fraud at the same bank. He's from Mississauga and his bail hearing will take place today.
The investigation is ongoing so anyone with information should contact Constable VanLeeuwen or Detective Constable Routly with Woodstock Police.
