Green beverages will be flowing this weekend as many attend St Patrick's Day celebrations. Police are urging those who venture out for festivities to act responsible and plan ahead for a safe ride home. OPP say they will be setting up RIDE spotchecks to look for impaired drivers today and tomorrow. They are also encouraging party hosts to ensure that those leaving by vehicle are in the hands of a sober driver. Police are hoping that with a little "Luck of the Irish", this St Patrick's Day will be a safe and pleasant celebration for all and not one marked by tragedy. London Police Chief Brad Duncan says they have preparing for this weekend for two months following last year's drunken riots near Fanshawe College. Duncan says they will have extra officers on the streets this weekend and there will be zero tolerance for parties that get out of hand.
