A previous Mayor is looking to return to the job in Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - Ingersoll could see a familiar face return to the Mayor's seat.
After eight years out of politics, Paul Holbrough is running for Mayor of Ingersoll.
Holbrough has been a Councillor, Deputy Mayor, Mayor and even Warden of Oxford.
He says working well with the council and the community is important.
"You need to work well not only with your members of council, but with all of the community. They're the ones that really should be driving the agenda. It's not just about one person, it's about how the community can come together and create opportunities."
Holbrough shared a highlight from his long career.
"I think the Ingersoll street extension would be one of the highlights. It was a project that people had been talking about for years and years and years. Eventually it came to fruition through some negotiation with other levels of government."
