A Flood Watch Bulletin regarding the potential for significant flooding is still in effect this weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - A Flood Watch Bulletin is still in effect from the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.
Water courses will be moving fast with the rest of the rain arriving today.
The UTRCA says the updated rain forecasts are ranging from 50 mm to 75 mm, along with most of them predicting approximately 70 mm by early today.
Streams and rivers will be out of bank in some areas due to lower amounts and inundating low lying flood plains.
They say peak flows should start to develop this morning in upstream areas such as Tavistock and Ingersoll.
River flows will remain higher than normal for several days next week, increasing the risk of safety around rivers and streams in the watershed.
The public is encouraged to exercise extreme caution around all local waterways.
Parents are encouraged to keep their children and pets away from all watercourses.
