The Premier is expected to announce strict new COVID-19 measures this morning at 11.
Premier Doug Ford will be making an announcement this morning at 11.
Yesterday the Ford cabinet had an emergency debate on implementing more COVID-19 measures in the Province. Reports suggest those measures include a return to virtual learning for at least 2 weeks, closing indoor dining, gyms and personal services.
The new restrictions are coming due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant. Hospitals and other emergency services cannot operate if over 50 percent of staff are at home sick.
