Crime Prevention - Helping Reduce Crime One Step at a Time is a free event hosted by the Oxford OPP in Norwich.
NORWICH - Oxford OPP are hosting a free Crime Prevention event in Norwich.
The evening is hosted in collaboration with the Township of Norwich and the Police Services Board. It is called Crime Prevention - Helping Reduce Crime One Step at a Time.
Topics will include: Fraud and Identity theft prevention, property crime and trends; Crime Stoppers; Lock It or Lose It campaign; Online Citizen Self Reporting; Safeguard Ontario; Mental Health Engagement and Response Team and Steps to Take to Secure your Home/Valuables.
Oxford OPP Detachment Commander Inspector Tony Hymers says he hopes to see a lot of people come out and take advantage of this program.
"This event is free and open to all residents of Oxford County and is an excellent opportunity for all community members to assist with Helping Reduce Crime One Step at a Time in their neighbourhoods. We look forward to seeing everyone there."
It's happening at the Norwich Community Centre this Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
