The Oxford County Pride Committee will celebrate Pride Month with a Family Fun Day in Southside Park and a 19 plus event at Riff’s Music Lounge.
Everyone is welcome to a family friendly celebration at
Vice Chair of the Oxford Pride Committee Phil Vandermolen expects a cavalcade of superheroes to turn up and help celebrate families of all kinds.
"We're going to have lots of stuff for the kids to do - it's going to be very family based. We've got some great entertainment coming in; Phil and Vinni are coming in. They're a great acoustic duo that does live classic rock to pop."
At night the party shifts to Riff's Music Lounge for a 19 plus event. Vice Chair Tami Murray says this was a big hit last year.
"It is a 19+ event and there will be lots of door prizes and this year we actually have an MC - Nikki Nastasia will be coming down as well as lots of door prizes and it should be a great time."
The party kicks off at Riff's at 8 p.m. There is a $5 cover in effect with the proceeds supporting the Oxford County Pride Committee.
