Daily case numbers in Ontario are the lowest they have been since the Stay-At-Home order was enacted.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,073 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 497,092.
The Province confirmed 15 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,342. Another 2,898 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 457,599 .
The province completed 28,109 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,782 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 802 people in the ICU and 568 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 685 new cases in Toronto, 389 in Peel, 231 in York Region and 144 in Durham.
