Daily case numbers remain low in Ontario as more people are getting vaccinated and people are starting to enjoy Stage 3.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 127 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 548,474 .
Two additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded today, meaning the total number of deaths now sits at 9,296. Another 126 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 537,824.
The province completed 13,585 tests yesterday. We currently have 145 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 106 people in the ICU and 71 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 34 new cases in Toronto, 17 in the Region of Waterloo, 14 in York Region, 10 in Peel Region, 10 in Grey Bruce and 10 in Halton Region.
