We currently have 11,630 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario after the Province confirmed 1,396 new cases this morning, 1,018 recoveries and another 20 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario confirmed 1,396 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 91,180.
Ontario also reported 20 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,312. Meanwhile another 1,018 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 76,238.
The province completed 40,509 tests yesterday. We currently have 452 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 106 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from the GTA with 472 new cases in Toronto, 448 in Peel and 155 in York Region.
