Ontario is reporting 158 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 171 resolved cases and 4 additional deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 158 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 549,734.
Four additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded today, meaning the total number of deaths now sits at 9,325. Another 171 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 539,031.
The province completed nearly 20,527 tests yesterday. We currently have 117 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 85 people in the ICU and 62 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 25 new cases in Toronto, 19 in York Region and 16 in Waterloo Region, 15 in Hamilton and 13 in Durham Region.
