Daily case numbers are down again today in Ontario at 1,588 and 3,119 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,588 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 514,690.
The Province confirmed 19 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,525. Another 3,119 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 482,749.
The province completed 38,422 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,401 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 735 people in the ICU and 539 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 524 new cases in Toronto, 335 in Peel, 105 in Ottawa and 94 in York Region.
