We currently have 16,151 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario after the Province confirmed 1,676 new cases this morning and 1,549 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,676 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 130,910.
The Province confirmed another 10 deaths this morning and the total now sits at 3,808. Meanwhile another 1,549 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 110,951.
The province completed 39,198 tests yesterday. We currently have 794 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 219 in the ICU and 132 COVID-19 patients on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 588 new cases in Toronto, 349 in Peel and 141 in York Region.
