The Province confirmed 173 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 3 deaths. Meanwhile another 228 people have made a full recovery and the amount of people in the hospital from the virus continues to drop.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 173 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 0.5% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 32,917.
The Province also confirmed another 3 deaths bringing the total to 2,553 and 1,636 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 228 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 28,004.
5,360 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 2,115 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 351 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 84 are in the ICU and 60 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 25,278 tests yesterday.
