We have more resolved cases than new cases again today in Ontario.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,969 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 270,180. Today's numbers include additional data from Toronto Public Health, so they are an over estimate of the complete total.
After the weekend totals, the total number of deaths connected to COVID-19 in Ontario is 6,244. Meanwhile another 2,132 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 244,939.
The province completed 30,359 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,158COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 354 people in the ICU and 260 in the ICU on a ventilator. These numbers do not include at least 10 percent of hospitals, who did not submit their data over the weekend.
