The Province confirmed 216 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 10 additional deaths. Meanwhile another 174 people have made a full recovery and the amount of people in the hospital from COVID-19 is under 300.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 216 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 0.6% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 33,853.
The Province also confirmed another 10 deaths bringing the total to 2,619 and 1,664 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 174 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 29,107.
5,392 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 2,205 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 288 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 75 are in the ICU and 54 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 16,189 tests yesterday.
