Ontario is reporting 2,170 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 2,953 resolved cases and 4 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,170 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 511,486.
The Province confirmed 4 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,489. Another 2,953 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 477,128.
The province completed 24,498 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,320 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 779 people in the ICU and 536 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 566 new cases in Toronto, 556 in Peel, 215 in York Region, 120 in Durham and 101 in Hamilton.
