The Province of Ontario had another day with over 2,000 new daily cases, they also confirmed another 2,043 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,432 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 148,967.
The Province also confirmed another 23 deaths and the total now sits at 4,058 after the weekend. Meanwhile another 2,043 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 125,416.
The province completed 58,178 tests yesterday. We currently have 919 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 263 people in the ICU and 172 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases continue to come from hot spots in the Province with 737 new cases in Toronto, 434 in Peel, 209 in York Region, 190 in Windsor-Essex County and 142 in Hamilton.
