Nearly 2/3 of todays new cases are coming from four hot spot regions in the Province.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,295 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 374,112.
The Province confirmed has confirmed 19 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,494. Another 2,576 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 338,559.
The province completed 63,846 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,417 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 525 people in the ICU and 331 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 933 new cases in Toronto, 649 in Peel, 386 in York Region, 165 in Durham and 160 in Ottawa.
