The Province of Ontario confirmed 338 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 19 deaths. Meanwhile the total number of resolved cases now sits at 22,811.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 338 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.2% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 29,047.
The Province also confirmed another 19 deaths bringing the total to 2,312 and 1,472 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile the total number of resolved cases now sits at 22,811.
5,172 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,843 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 791 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 127 are in the ICU and 92 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 17,537 tests yesterday.
