Daily case numbers are below 4,000 today and for the first time in weeks, the amount of resolved cases are significantly higher with 4,597.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,682 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 432,805.
The Province confirmed 40 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,829. Another 4,597 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 383,014.
The province completed 54,246 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,350 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 806 people in the ICU and 588 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,131 new cases in Toronto, 507 in Peel, 436 in York Region, 279 in Ottawa and 200 in Durham.
