Daily case numbers are over 4,500 today and for the second the day in a row the amount of resolved cases is higher than the amount of new cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 4,505 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 437,310.
The Province confirmed 34 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,863. Another 4,698 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 387,712.
The province completed 56,206 tests yesterday. We currently have 2,287 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 818 people in the ICU and 593 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 1,257 new cases in Toronto, 1,232 in Peel, 412 in York Region, 247 in Ottawa and 224 in Durham.
