We have more recoveries than new cases today in Ontario after the Province confirmed 583 new cases this morning and 707 new recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 583 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 55,362.
The Province confirmed 7 new deaths related to the virus this morning and the total now sits at 2,987. Meanwhile another 707 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 46,906.
The province completed 42,031 tests yesterday. Over half of the new cases come from four regions in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York Region.
We currently have 192 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 41 are in the ICU.
