We currently have 964 active cases of COVID-19 in Ontario with most of the active cases in the GTA.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 76 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 41,048.
The Province confirmed one new COVID-19 related death today and the total now sits at 2,789. Meanwhile another 76 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 37,291.
We currently have 35 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 15 are in the ICU. Right now the Province has 964 active cases and most of them are in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa, Southwestern Public Health Region and Windsor/Essex. The Province completed 25,917 tests yesterday.
The numbers from today are not completely accurate as they do not include 11 health units, including Brant County because of an issue with the province’s data system iPHIS.
