For the 4th day in a row, the number of new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario is under 100. We currently have 1,120 active cases of the virus in the Province.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 95 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 39,809.
The Province also confirmed 1 new COVID-19 related death today and the total number of deaths now sits at 2,783. Meanwhile another 159 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 35,906.
We currently have 71 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 29 are in the ICU with 13 people in the ICU on a ventilator. Right now the Province has 1,120 active cases and most of them are in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa, Southwestern Public Health region and Windsor/Essex. The Province completed 26,181 tests yesterday.
