ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Township of Zorra is asking for input from the public on a potential licensed daycare in Thamesford.

He says the lack of daycares are a constant issue and struggle for people.
"Thamesford is growing. It's growing through the development that was already planned in the Thames Springs developments on either side of Banner Road, just west of the village, and through the recent redevelopments that the Township has undertaken through purchasing and reselling the former Maple Leaf property."
He says no one has formally contacted him asking for the facility, however.
Mayor Ryan says there is already quite a bit of development planned in the area. He adds new businesses are looking to develop there all the time.
He says people can contact them online, either on their website or on social media.
"They'll be able to find posts in all three places there where they can engage and contact staff and let them know the nature of their interest in it."
Mayor Ryan says you can go to their website, Facebook or Twitter page.
He says that without public input, the Township can't move forward and start discussions.
He adds after knowing the exact level of interest from the community, the Township would then use that information to attract or encourage someone to open and operate one.
