Families will be able to enjoy lots of games and a barbeque lunch during Pumpkin Palooza.
THAMESFORD - The Thamesford Lions Club has joined forces with Westminister United Church for Pumpkin Palooza.
Families are invited to stop by the church on George Street for lots of family fun this Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Rebecca Haggerty, the Communications and Publicity Coordinator for the Thamesford Lions, says there will be lots to do.
"There are over 18 games to play, so lots of fun for the whole family. We'll have lots of different fall-type events with pumpkin tossing, apple tosses and a couple of little things for the kids to make."
The Lions will be on site serving up a barbeque lunch as well.
It costs $20 for a family to attend, but Haggerty says the money will go back into the community.
"I believe the Westminister United Church is donating the profits back into community events, so it can continue hosting more fun for the whole family."
The barbeque lunch is included in the admission price.
