A morning RIDE program in Tillsonburg leads to one impaired charge
The morning RIDE programs are proving to be beneficial.
Oxford OPP were conducting a RIDE program on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg on Sunday around 10:00 am.
Police say 50 year-old Ross Palen of Tillsonburg blew over 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood and was subsequently handed a 90-day suspension and had his vehicle impounded for 7-days.
He'll appear in court in January.
Police will continue to hold their RIDE programs at all times of day and advise drivers "that time is the only thing that will reduce your blood alcohol content."
