OPP in Ingersoll have been busy investigating a rash of vehicle and shed break-ins over the past week. According to police, between December 28th and 30th, a number of items were stolen during the thefts including electronics, tools, cash and ID's. In some cases, the ignition on the vehicle was also damaged. Police are reminding residents in the town to ensure vehicles and outbuildings are locked and secured, and never leave valuable items in the car. They are also encouraging residents to call police immediately if they notice suspicious activity in their neighbourhood as this will assist them in locating any possible culprits quickly, Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
