Woodstock City Council carried a motion to provide a Rehabilitation and Renovation grant. The grant is to ensure business longer term viability for buildings that are rehabilitated or renovated to ensure viability. To get the grant the building must fit certain criteria including being located downtown. The grant schedule for this program is up to 100% of the increase in the municipal portion of taxes The application for the grant was filed by Spina and Loewith Incorporated for what was the former post office.
