You will have plenty of opportunities to honour our veterans in Oxford County on November 11th.
As Remembrance day approaches everyone is asked to spare a thought for the people who made it home, and those who did not.
Ceremonies will be held at the cenotaphs in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, and Norwich to pay their respects.
Second World War veteran Ken MacGillivray says seeing people come out and reflect means so much to him as he remembers the friends he lost.
"I think of the buddies that I was in the front lines with that I lost during the war. And that means a lot to me."
The ceremonies will begin at 10:30 a.m. but people are encouraged to make their way to the cenotaphs earlier as it will be a very busy day.
The cenotaphs can be found at:
Woodstock Cenotaph - 95 Buller Street (Woodstock's ceremony could get moved indoors to the AUD depending on the weather)
Ingersoll Cenotaph - 130 Oxford Street
Tillsonburg Cenotaph - 200 Broadway Street
Norwich Cenotaph - 1 Jerdon Street
