The official Remembrance Day ceremony in the Town of Ingersoll has already happened and it will be available on Rogers TV on November 11th.
INGERSOLL - Remembrance Day will look a lot different in the Town of Ingersoll this year.
Normally they have a big ceremony downtown, complete with a parade to the cenotaph. This year they already had a very small ceremony last Sunday, that was filmed for Rogers TV. The ceremony will be played on November 11th for residents to watch at home.
The Ingersoll Legion will have a small ceremony in their parking lot on November 11th. The event will be by invite only and they are hoping to keep it very small, with social distancing measures in place.
You will be able to watch the ceremony on Rogers TV this Wednesday and it will air a couple of times throughout the day and the week. Of course Heart FM will be doing our annual Remembrance Day program as well starting at 10:50 on Wednesday November 11th with the moment of silence at 11:00 am sharp.
