Four Oxford County Council will be sitting on a job performance review committee for our CAO.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council has selected a committee to conduct a performance review for our Chief Administrative Officer.
Warden David Mayberry, Deputy Warden Larry Martin, Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey and Zorra Township Mayor Margaret Lupton will talk about what CAO Peter Crockett has accomplished over the last four years.
Mayberry says it's very similar to a job performance review that the average employee may go through.
"As the head staff person here, there is no supervisor other than County Council to evaluate him so that's the logical place where it should be done."
Mayberry says the committee will also help direct Crockett in a new direction as we head into a head year with a new council.
"To me that's the real value of it; helping the CAO understand what the expectations are and the real satisfaction with his job performance that the council feels."
The committee will be meeting over the two weeks and will bring a report back to council later on.
