A 25 year old man from Woodstock is facing impaired driving and drug trafficking charges after a RIDE check in Woodstock last night.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are once again reminding residents, that if you drink and drive, you need be prepared to live with the consequences.
Officers had a R.I.D.E program set up early this morning on Vansittart Avenue and Devonshire Avenue. The spot checks resulted in a 25 year old man from Woodstock being arrested, his car was towed and licence suspended.
The man is facing the following charges:
• Adult Drive While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol)
• Adult Drive with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
• Adult Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
• Adult Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of Trafficking
• Adult Resist Peace Officer
