A 34 year old from Stratford has been charged with assault and uttering threats after a near miss collision with a vehicle and a pedestrian.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - A 34 year old from Stratford has been charged with assault and uttering threats in what appears to be a case of road rage.
Police say the person was driving on 31st Line in Zorra Township early Sunday evening when they had a near miss collision with a pedestrian. The driver stopped and the two started arguing when the pedestrian turned violent according to police. The driver was able to escape to safety and call police.
The 34 year old pedestrian was charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief times 2.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.
