When it comes to winter road maintenance for 2015, the City of Woodstock says they have been pretty blessed.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock's Engineering department is hoping for more of an average snowfall this year.
This comes as the City prepares to deliberate their 2015 Operations Budget.
City Engineer Harold de Haan says their 2014 winter roads budget really took a beating.
de Haan continues "the last week and a half or so we have definitely bit into the overtime you know with the snow, but so far we have been pretty blessed so far in 2015."
City Council is slated to debate the Operating budget later this month and de Haan says when it comes to the roads "we went with basically the 2014 budget numbers for 2015 and are anticipating and hoping that that will be enough to see us through to the end of the year."
de Haan did not know off the top of his head how much the 2014 budget was over by.
