There are still spots available for a special curling bonspiel to raise money for the CAS Endowment Fund
TILLSONBURG - The Children's Aid Society of Oxford County invites people to Rock the Fund with their annual bonspiel
This is the third year for the fundraiser and Coordinator of Development Ron Archer wants to see people of all ability levels hit the ice.
"You don't need any experience if you want to just come out and have a good time. You could actually bring your kids out if you wanted to. And there's time for direction in the morning to give you a little bit of help. There is no first prize - everybody wins."
There are still some spots available for the bonspiel. Archer says not only is it a fun day out, but it also helps support programming for crown wards.
"So all the money raised goes to the CAS Endowment Fund. So it goes to kids for post secondary education, kids camps, and so on."
It's happening at the Tillsonburg Curling Club on Saturday March 4th with the first draw at 9:30 a.m.
