INGERSOLL - A routine traffic stop has led to a lengthy list of charges for a 31 year old man from Ingersoll.
Oxford OPP say they pulled over a car heading northbound on Thames Street with no front license plate on Sunday morning. After investigating police ended up charging the driver with a number of offences.
The long list of charges includes:
Drive while under suspension (2 counts) - Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
Obstruct plate - HTA
Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner - HTA
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance - Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
Possession of a schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30 grams - Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The male was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
