The Woodstock Navy Vets are hoping for a "fresh start" as they open post-season play on Friday night. The Vets open at home against the Paris Mounties in a best-of-7 series. It was another rough season for the Vets, who finished last in the Niagara West Division with a 6-32 record. Paris finished 3rd with an 18-16-4 record. Friday night's game is being called "Municipal Services Night", and anyone working for the City of Woodstock gets into the game free of charge.
