After a number of scrap metal thefts from a local welding shop, Woodstock police were finally able to nab the alleged culprits. Police say around 9:20 pm Saturday they spotted a white van on Juliana Drive that was a suspect vehicle in thefts from Cornell Welding. The vehicle was stopped and subsequently the five occupants were arrested and charged with a number of theft related charges: Gustavo Glonczi, age 29 from Toronto -possession of break in instruments Csaba Lajho, age 23 from Toronto -possession of break in instruments -fail to comply with undertaking before officer in charge x2 Jozsef Lakatos, age 19 from Toronto -possession of break in instruments -fail to comply with undertaking before officer in charge x2 Jozsef Russzo, age 39 from Toronto -theft under $5000 x2 -possession of break in instruments -drive motor vehicle no licence -drive motor vehicle no insurance Ferenc Stefan, age 36 from Toronto -theft under $5000 -possession of break in instruments -public mischief -breach of probation Four of the men are being held in custody for a bail hearing today. Stefan, Lajho and Lakatos were just arrested last week in Zorra Township for snooping around a Hydro One compound.
