During a storm in September, a part of the roof collapsed and there was damage inside the building as well. The Town was planning to rebuild the roof in 2021 but the project will have to be moved up a bit.
INGERSOLL - When the seniors return to their centre in Ingersoll they will have a brand new roof over their heads.
During a storm at the end of September, part of the roof collapsed, causing damage inside the building as well.
The destruction is so severe that patching the roof or covering it temporarily with a tarp was not viable, hence the complete replacement. Staff had been close in timing because the 2021 budget called for the roof to be redone.
