The Brant OPP would like people using the Mile Hill trail system close to Rest Acres Road to be extra vigilant.
BRANT COUNTY - The Brant OPP is investigating a sexual assault that happened on the Mile Hill trails, close to Rest Acres Road.
Police say someone was assaulted by an unknown person while they were walking the trail at around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The culprit took off on foot, and they're described as a young Caucasian man who stands at about 6-feet with a slim build and dark brown hair. He was wearing a black hoodie that had stripes on the sleeves, with some grey sweatpants and black high-top running shoes.
The Brant OPP would like to speak with anyone who was in the area between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. that night.

The OPP says residents and those traveling the trial system should be extra vigilant of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to police. If you find yourself in immediate danger you should call 911.
