The Elgin Oxford Legal Clinic is participating in the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace Project.
OXFORD COUNTY - Legal Clinics in and around the County are taking part in the Sexual Harassment in the Workplace Project.
Lawyer Elsbeth Graham is leading the project for the Elgin Oxford Clinic and Huron Perth Community Clinic. This project was made possible thanks to funding from Justice Canada and several legal clinics across the country are taking part.
She says the projects goal is to help everyone understand the various forms of sexual harassment, it's not just inappropriate touching.
"When we are dealing with situations like making jokes, even complimenting someone or situations where it does feel a bit more unclear where the line is."
Graham says the legal clinics of Elgin, Oxford, Huron and Perth are available to help you with questions or concerns around sexual harassment in the workplace.
"We are looking to assist employee's, people who may have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace, but we are also looking to assist employers, organizations who are looking to prevent or address sexual harassment at the policy level."
