Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford and Brant. Some areas could see anywhere between 40 to 60 milimetres of rain before Thursday morning.
OXFORD/BRANT - It's the calm before the rain storm in Oxford and Brant.
Environment Canada says the rain should start later this evening and some areas could see anywhere between 40 to 60 milimetres by Thursday morning. We could be in for some thunderstorms as well.
A special weather statement is in effect at this time and a rainfall warning could be issued later today. This is all thanks to a cold front that's arriving from the American mid-west.
Heavy rain could cause flooding and could impair your visibility on the roads.
