The Small Town Girls will be kicking it with Brett Kissel once again.
LANGTON - The Small Town Girls will be kicking it with Brett Kissel once again.
Cassie, Hayley and Hannah VanMaele got to open for the country music star in Barrie last January, after winning the Kick it with Kissel contest. They decided to enter once again this year, and now they will hit the stage with him in North Bay on February 23rd.
Hannah talks about the contest.
"We had to enter in a video. We learned two of his songs but we only did one for the actual contest, but we did We Were That Song and we just had to post a video of us singing it."
The sisters had to use hashtag Kick it with Kissel in order to get the CCMA Award winners attention.
Cassie is very excited to win for a second year in a row.
"I think it's such a great opportunity. We did it last year and it was so much fun! We honestly didn't really think we were going to win again because we won last year, but we did and now we are so happy to meet him again and open for him."
The VanMaeles are from Langton, and they have been performing together for about a year and a half now.
