The Holiday Smile Cookie campaign in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Innerkip raised close to $36,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Innerkip has brought a huge donation to Big Brothers Big Sister of Oxford.
Half of the sales went to the charity of choice, and the other went to support the Tim Horton's Camp Foundation. Fund Development Manager with BBBS, Nicole Killaire says the organization is so excited with the money that will be coming to them.
"We are so thrilled to have been a part of this again this year, and so thankful to our local Tim Horton's for selecting us. This campaign was able to bring in just shy of $36,000 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County."
Killaire adds how the money will be able to help the organization.
"Funding like this goes a long way in ensuring that we can offer these programs to young people and families at zero cost, meaning that our programs are barrier-free to the young people of Oxford County."
Killaire adds the waitlist is still long and they are hoping the funds will allow them to grow the programs and help more young people in the County. She would also like to thank those who helped decorate cookies, the staff at the Tim Horton's locations, the management, and everyone who bought a cookie.
