You may want to cancel your plans if you have to travel a far distance this evening.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the region, including Oxford County.
Local snowfall amounts of close to 15 centimetres are expected tonight, into Wednesday morning. The snow squalls should slow down by tomorrow morning. Local blowing snow, reducing visibility to near zero will be the biggest concern tonight.
Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
