Regions across Southwestern Ontario received anywhere between 15 to 20 centimetres of snow last night.
OXFORD COUNTY - We got hit with quite the snow storm here in Oxford County and the surrounding regions.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says most areas got anywhere between 15 to 20 centimetres last night.
"Kitchener came in with about 14 centimetres. We had reports down through other parts of Southwestern Ontario in the Leamington and Windsor area around 19 to 20 centimetres. So generally it looks like a widespread snowfall of 15 to 20 centimetres with a few pockets receiving more than that."
Areas closer to Lake Ontario including Ancaster and Stoney Creek received anywhere between 25 to 30 centimetres last night.
Coulson says we could be in for another snowfall Thursday night, but nothing is set in stone yet.
"The models don't seem to be firming up the track just yet. Some of the models are taking the system a little further to the south and that would cut down on the snow amounts for the Woodstock and Oxford County area. Other models are bringing the system further north and that would bump the amounts up again."
He says this system is coming from the Gulf of Mexico so it should bring lots of moisture. Another snowfall warning will be issued if it looks like we'll receive another 15 centimetres of snow.
