The Garden Extravaganza and Bake Sale is one of the two fundraisers at the South Gate Centre next weekend.
WOODSTOCK - Two fundraisers will be happening next weekend inside the South Gate Centre.
One of the events will be Paint Night with Kate Innes.
Executive Director Chris Cunningham says it's a fun, social event.
"It's just so much fun. It's such a social event and we've seen already groups of girls have come together and they're like, 'oh I'm getting my friends together, we're all coming.' So we do have some of those tickets, but it is surely a social night."
Tickets are just $50.00. The money raised from the Paint Night will be split between Oxford Creative Connections and the South Gate Centre.
The following day the South Gate Centre will put on their Garden Extravaganza and Bake Sale.
People can buy items ranging from planters, benches, on top of the desserts and treats. The variety of items are created by volunteers in the workshop.
Cunningham says the annual garden show is a great opportunity for people to show off what they've created.
"This has been an annual event for us for 14 years where we've done the garden show. We've got busy, busy, busy folks in the workshop and they are always building and creating, and doing great things, and this is a great opportunity to showcase their work."
Saturday's fundraiser is free to attend. It will also feature a fundraising breakfast put on by Relay for Life and all of the proceeds from it will go towards Relay for Life Woodstock.
Cunningham encourages the community to spend part of the weekend at either fundraiser, both of which are a few days away from Mother's Day.
"Plan to spend that part of the weekend with us. Friday night, the Paint Night, Saturday come to the Garden Extravaganza. We've got beautiful plants also that are compliments of Floral Express too. It's a great, great time and in time for Mother's Day."
